Our Story
KanduHR was born from a simple frustration: expensive, over-engineered HR platforms that aren’t cost-effective for startups and SMEs. Bloated features that 95% of companies will never use, at prices that don’t add up.
For years, our founder Matthew tested almost every HR platform on the market for his CRM agency, WeDoCRM. Yet none offered a genuinely affordable, simple, and scalable solution. Every platform wanted to pack in extensive features, but the vast majority were redundant for a small business. The result? Large costs with little value for money.
It was beyond frustrating.
Given the advancements in technology — and Matthew’s technical background — he set out to replace WeDoCRM’s existing HR platform with a custom-built company intranet. All the features the team wanted and needed, without the tech bloat and accompanying costs.
As with every good project, feedback from colleagues and friends revealed a collective pattern. The frustration wasn’t unique to WeDoCRM — it was everywhere. Small businesses across the UK were overpaying for software they barely used.
The question Matthew was left with? Why create a platform for one company, when you can create one for every company.
And so, KanduHR was born.
